Other Projects

Kalgoorlie-Boulder Resources also holds interests in other exploration projects in Western Australia. Thee projects are summarised below.

Jackpot Project

The Jackpot Project, comprising four granted Mining Leases with an aggregate area of 34 hectares, is located 6 kilometres north east of the gold mining centre of Coolgardie and adjacent to the Great Eastern Highway. The deposit is favourably situated for transport and processing infrastructure being within 10 kilometres of three gold processing plants.

The Jackpot Project covers historic gold workings that produced over 4,000 ounces of gold at a grade of 12.69 grams per tonne. Previous exploration between 2000 to 2001 comprised 154 reverse circulation drill holes for a total of 14,798 metres drilled.

Kalgoorlie-Boulder Resources mined the Jackpot Gold Mine, with an open cut mine and treated the ore through a toll treatment arrangement that ran from August 2006 until July 2007, producing approximately 5,300 ounces of gold. The Company is now re-evaluating the Jackpot project to determine the best development path for the future.

Other Projects

In addition, Kalgoorlie-Boulder Resources owns the Broad Arrow (Gold), Dunnsville (Gold) and Lake Johnston (Nickel) Projects.

The Company is currently evaluating these projects for either further exploration, joint venture or divestment.
